My sister has issues with overheating while doing intense exercise. I came up with a simple method of climate control using IV tubing, a small DC submersible pump, and wicking athletic shirt.
The needlework is amateur, however I thought it would be a great idea to combine a camelback design with convective cooling. I 3d-printed the manifolds to allow 4 pathways. I proved the cooling concept with the rapid prototype below. My next step is iterate the design using more a robust water receptacle backpack. and changing the wicking shirt and tube arrangement for an aesthetic and effective appearance.
